Gustavo Jota Resende

Gustavo Jota Resende is a data scientist with extensive experience in natural language processing, currently serving as the Data Scientist Tech Lead at A3Data since July 2019. In addition to this role, Gustavo contributed as a teacher of the NLP discipline in the Postgraduate Course in Data Science and Big Data at PUC Minas from June 2023 to August 2023. Previously, Gustavo was a master's student and researcher at the Social Computing Laboratory of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, focusing on the study of misinformation spread on WhatsApp. Gustavo's early professional experience includes an internship as a developer at EMATER-MG and as a research intern at the Applied Computational Intelligence Laboratory at PUC Minas. Gustavo holds a master's degree in computer science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a bachelor's degree in computer science from PUC Minas, along with experience gained through an exchange program at Rochester Institute of Technology.
