Cliff Chen has a background in the field of 3D art and design. In 2016, they worked as an Intern 3D Artist at Imersia Studio, where they gained experience in character creation, re-topology, and 3D modeling. In 2019, Cliff worked as a 3D Environment Artist at Upsurge Studios, contributing to the game "The Forgotten City" by designing and dressing game levels and creating modular sets. Cliff then joined Ascend Reality as a Contract 3D Artist, responsible for the visual aspects of a project involving augmented reality and HoloLens technology. This included 3D modeling, optimization, and material creation. Currently, Cliff works as an Environment Artist at A44 Games, where they have been involved in the development of the game "Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn" for the past three years. Their work primarily involves modeling and texturing environmental assets, collaborating with a team of artists, directors, and designers to bring the world of Flintlock to life.
Cliff Chen completed their high school education at Macleans College from 2010 to 2013, focusing on Graphic Design. After that, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Design at Auckland University of Technology. In 2019, they undertook a short course at CGMA | Computer Graphics Master Academy, specializing in UE4 MODULAR ENVIRONMENTS.
