Frances Tyner is a seasoned professional in corporate development and investment management, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Development and Investment Manager at MFS Africa since April 2021, while also co-founding A&A Collective during the same period. Frances is actively involved with Global Women in VC as a member since March 2020. Previous experience includes positions as Research and Impact Officer at Global Partnerships until April 2021, and various roles at Hall Capital Partners LLC from January 2015 to July 2019, encompassing Cross Asset Research Strategy Associate and Portfolio Management positions. Early career experiences include an Executive Team Lead role at Target and multiple academic support and research positions at the University of California, Berkeley. Frances holds an Executive Education degree in Impact Investing in Africa from the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town and a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
