Christine Vernasco Bales

Christine Vernasco Bales is an accomplished executive consultant with over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving at AABB since December 2011. Previously, Christine managed the Blood Donor Center and Therapeutic Apheresis at Cedars-Sinai from January 2010 to December 2011, focusing on operations, quality systems, and donor recruitment. Additional leadership roles include serving as VP at Donor Dialogue and CEO at the American Red Cross. Christine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Purdue University Fort Wayne, a Certificate in Clinical Laboratory Science from Parkview Hospital's School of Medical Technology, and completed a Partners in Organizational Leadership program at Harvard University in 1999.
