Martin Gunnerius Unneberg is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity. Currently serving as Partner and Co-Head of M&A at Aabø-Evensen since February 2021, Martin advises private equity houses, financial institutions, and corporates on various M&A transactions in the Nordics. Additionally, Martin holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Gersemi Asset Management, a long/short shipping hedge fund, since July 2023. Previous roles include Attorney-at-law at EY, providing indirect tax advisory services, and positions at Advokatfirmaet Legalis AS and Advokatfirmaet Ytterbøl & Co, where Martin assisted clients in a broad range of legal areas. Martin earned a Master's Degree in Law from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway between 2009 and 2014.
