Sigve Nakken is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital, since July 2010. Prior to this position, Sigve worked as a part-time systems developer at Sencel/PubGene from April 2006 to August 2013. Sigve Nakken earned a PhD in Computational Genomics/Bioinformatics from the Centre for Molecular Biology & Neuroscience, Oslo University Hospital/University of Oslo, between 2004 and 2010. Additionally, Sigve holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science/Bioinformatics from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2004, and a degree as Sivilingeniør in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), obtained in 2003.
