Marcos Compadre has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and coaching. Marcos is currently a Principal Engineer at AAC Clyde Space, where they are responsible for leading the Analog and Power electronics team. Prior to this role, they served as the Engineering Design Authority and Team Leader for the same team. Marcos also worked as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer and Electronics Design Engineer, where they were directly involved in designing and testing power subsystems for small satellites and CubeSats. Before their engineering career, Marcos worked as a Swimming Coach at Polideportivo San Agustín, where they successfully coached and instructed swimmers of different ages.
Marcos Compadre completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow between 2015-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same university in 2009-2010. Marcos began their educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad de Zaragoza from 2003-2009.
