Shamim Zaidi, CISSP, has over 16 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Their most recent role was as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at AAC Inc., where they were responsible for conducting vulnerability scanning of infrastructure and network devices, interpreting security scan results, and recommending corrective actions. Shamim Zaidi, CISSP, has a strong education background in computer and information systems security/information assurance. From 2006 to 2008, Shamim attended The Johns Hopkins University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Shamim completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Studies at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, Shamim received certifications in Network+ from CompTIA in September 2006 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in December 2021.
