Michael French, PE, CCP, CEP, PSP has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Michael is currently the Owner/Consultant at Construction Innovation Consultants, LLC, where they provide estimating and scheduling assistance for various large-scale projects. Michael also serves as an expert witness when needed.

Prior to their current position, Michael worked as the Director of Analytics and Chief Estimator at A.H. Beck Foundation Co., Inc., where they managed the estimating of over 2,000 deep foundation projects. During their time there, they significantly increased estimating output and quality through process streamlining and analysis.

Michel also served as a Senior Estimator at Zachry Corporation, where they were responsible for leading estimations on bid-build and design-build highway projects. Their methods for verifying engineering team quantities improved estimating time and scope completeness.

Additionally, Michael has experience in project management, cost analysis, and scheduling. Michael has worked for companies such as J A Jones Construction, Adelphia Business Solutions, The Fishel Company, Kiewit, and Banks Carbone Construction Company. Michael also served as a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University.

Throughout their career, Michael has worked on projects ranging from multi-million dollar highways and transit systems to nuclear facilities and telecommunications clean-room buildings. Michael has a strong background in estimating, scheduling, and project analysis, making him a valuable asset in the construction industry.

Michael French, PE, CCP, CEP, PSP has an extensive education history and multiple certifications. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction from The Ohio State University from 1986 to 1991. Michael later pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction and Business from the same institution, completing it from 1992 to 1995.

In addition to their educational achievements, Michael has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Michael became a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) in December 2020 from AACE International. Michael also holds certifications as a Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) and a Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) from AACE International, obtained in October 2020 and October 2019 respectively.

Furthermore, Michael holds multiple contractor licenses. Michael is a Qualified Individual under the South Carolina Contractors Licensing Board since June 2011 and also holds the Virginia Contractors License Class A - Qualifier from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation since June 2011. Michael has an Arkansas Contractors License obtained in May 2011 and a North Carolina Contractors License - Qualified Individual obtained in May 2010. Additionally, they hold a Utah Contractors License Class E100 - Qualifier from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing since September 2009, and an Arizona Contractor License Class A - Qualified Individual from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors obtained in May 2009. Michael is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas since May 2009, and in their home state of Ohio since July 1997. Michael also previously held the designation of Certified Cost Engineer (CCE), now known as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), obtained in 1996 from AACE International.

Notably, Michael has also obtained contractor licenses in California and Nevada, being a qualified individual under the State of California and the Nevada State Contractors Board, both obtained in May 2011.
