Rance McClain has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rance is currently working as the Senior Vice President at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of President and CEO at MMA Medical, where they provided sports medicine coverage for various athletic and combat sports events. Rance McClain also worked as the Dean at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education from January 2019 to July 2023, and as the Associate Dean of Clinical Sciences at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine from August 2015 to January 2019. Additionally, they served as an Associate Professor of OMM at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences from June 2000 to July 2015, and began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Kansas from July 1991 to July 1992.
Rance McClain began their education at Pittsburg State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. Rance attended the university from 1986 to 1991. Following their completion of undergraduate studies, McClain enrolled in Kansas City University, where they studied Family Medicine. Rance received their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Kansas City University after completing their studies in 1996.
