Volkmar Kaufmann

Volkmar Kaufmann has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Volkmar started their career at STM as a Marketing Manager in 1990 and held this position until 1993. From 1993 to 1994, they worked as a Customer Marketing Engineer at Intel Corporation, focusing on Flash memory. Volkmar then transitioned to the role of Marketing Manager for embedded processors and platforms at Intel from 1995 to 2000. In 2001, they became a Market Development Manager for Optical Networking at Intel, a position they held until 2004. In 2005, Volkmar took on the role of Marketing Manager for Telco strategy at Intel for a short period of time. Later that year, they became a Business Development Manager for Servers at Intel and stayed in that role until 2007. In 2008, Volkmar worked as an Independent Sales Rep for Volkmar Kaufmann and then co-founded AttachRate in 2009. Volkmar served as a Co-founder until 2011 when they joined AAEON Europe. At AAEON Europe, Volkmar held various positions including Sales Manager / Country Manager from 2011 to 2016, Sales Director from 2016 to 2023, and currently serves as the Vice President of Sales starting in 2023.

Volkmar Kaufmann completed their education at the Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences. From 1988 to 1990, they pursued a degree in Economics and obtained a Diplom (Master).
