Amanda Gertel

Amanda Gertel has extensive experience in administrative and project management roles, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the President and Treasurer at AAFMAA since May 2019. Prior to this position, Amanda worked as a Project Manager at Piedmont Family Practice from July 2016 to October 2018 and gained early experience as an Assistant Teacher at Kid's Harbor from May 2015 to May 2016. Additional roles include Customer Care Specialist and Office Assistant at Gutterman Services, Inc. from April 2009 to August 2013, and summer internships at the US Department of Transportation in 2010 and 2011. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from James Madison University, completed in 2016, and graduated from Kettle Run High School in 2012.
