Melaku Tafese earned a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University in July 2015, and an M. Sc. in chemical Engineering from Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, Addis Ababa University in March 2023 respectively.
Melaku Tafese has produced nine books and he has also published a number of journal articles including Food (processing) engineering, Food technology, food science and nutrition, product development and optimization, etc. Melaku Tafese also serves as a reviewer, editor, and section editor in different scientific journals.
