Dr. Jens Hackenberger

Dr. Jens Hackenberger has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Dr. Jens currently serves as the Group CFO and Managing Director at Aalberts Surface Technologies, overseeing the financial operations of the company with 6,000 employees globally. Prior to this, they worked at Henkel, where they held various leadership positions in finance and commercial operations, including Head of Global Packaging & Consumer Goods Adhesives and Head of Global Supply Chain & Operations. Dr. Hackenberger also has experience in strategic controlling, corporate planning, corporate accounting, and financial integration. Dr. Jens has previous experience as a lecturer and consultant, as well as internships in companies such as Arthur Andersen and ITERGO Informationstechnologie GmbH.

Dr. Jens Hackenberger completed their education at Ruhr University Bochum. Dr. Jens received a Dipl.-Ökonom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaft in 2003 and a Dr. rer. oec. degree in the same field in 2007. Additionally, they attended the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School and the Global Leadership Program at IESE Business School.
