Kristine Nygaard

Kristine Nygaard is an experienced library professional currently serving as Bibliotekschef at Aalborg Bibliotekerne since January 2022. Nygaard is also a member of BDI Styregruppen for Bibliotekernes Data og IT at Kombit and has been part of Danmarks Biblioteksforening's Repræsentantskab since May 2018. In addition, Nygaard has chaired Edvard Petersens Biblioteksfond, which supports the Danish library system, since June 2015. Previous positions include Bibliotekschef at Skive Bibliotek and various roles at Viborg Bibliotekerne. Nygaard holds a master's degree in public leadership from the University of Southern Denmark, along with several other qualifications in management and process consultancy.
