Josephine Bakka

Josephine Bakka is a PhD Fellow at Aalborg University, focusing on the intersection of AI and cybersecurity through the AI:SECURITY research project. Prior to this role, Josephine served as the BU Security Coordinator at Dynaway, where responsibilities included implementing security controls and maintaining compliance with relevant EU regulations. Experience also includes roles at BlackRock as a Software Engineering Analyst and Intern, where Josephine contributed to application development and monitoring utilizing various programming languages and technologies. Josephine began a career in software engineering with SigmaNet and has a strong foundation in education, having taught various subjects as a Private Tutor and Teaching Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Computer Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science, with ongoing studies in Cybersecurity at KU Leuven.
