M.D. Sagir

MD Sagir is an accomplished electrical maintenance engineer with extensive experience in substation operations, maintenance, and installation across various organizations. Currently employed at Al Ahleia Switchgear Co. KSCC, MD Sagir has also been with AALCO Group since August 2021, focusing on 33/11kV substation equipment and 66/11kV gas-insulated substations, along with comprehensive documentation and material management. Prior professional engagements include roles at Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) and Adani Transmission Ltd, where MD Sagir specialized in substation operation, maintenance, and repair of critical electrical components. Additionally, MD Sagir served as a junior faculty member at the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), providing training in electrical and electronics maintenance. MD Sagir holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University and a diploma in the same field from the State Board of Technical Education and Training.
