Maria Hedden

Maria Hedden is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and manufacturing across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Aalyria since September 2024, Maria previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. from April 2022 to September 2024. Prior to that, Maria was Senior Vice President of Operations and SVP of Security Detection and Automation Operations at Leidos from May 2020 to April 2022. Maria also served as Vice President and General Manager of Security and Detection Systems at L3Harris Technologies from July 2019 to May 2020, and spent several years at L3 Technologies where roles included President of Combat Propulsion Systems. With a foundational career starting at BAE Systems as Director of Advanced Manufacturing, Maria led significant efficiency improvements and manufacturing strategies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from the University of Minnesota.
