Matthew Hagerty

Matthew Hagerty is a seasoned hardware and software developer with a robust background in technology and design. Currently employed at Aalyria since March 2022, Matthew focuses on designing and programming computers for free space optics technology. Prior experience includes serving as an Advisor Application Designer at Gainwell Technologies and a Software Lead Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where involvement in projects such as Avatar Navi Shaman and Star Wars Galaxy's Edge showcased Matthew's design capabilities in custom electronic circuit boards. Earlier roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services and Digital Stratum, Inc. allowed for the development of high-performance software and web-based applications, utilizing a diverse set of programming languages and technologies. Matthew's educational background includes a degree as a Satellite Technician from Medium Terminal Satellite Communications School and training as an Electronics Technician from NAVY Electronics Technician 'A' School.
