Jessica Young

Jessica Young is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Manager of Electrification Software at American Axle & Manufacturing, a position held since May 2013, after progressing through roles from Embedded Software Engineer to Lead Embedded Software Engineer. At AAM, responsibilities include developing software for actuator controls, managing software delivery, and creating software requirements and design, utilizing tools such as Simulink, Stateflow, and C. Additionally, Jessica participated in the Leadership Development Program, gaining experience in production supervision, procurement, and program management. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at Wayne State University, focusing on automated laparoscopic surgery and backend android cloud storage, as well as an Electrical Engineering Co-op at AAM. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wayne State University.
