Somil Patni

Somil Patni is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and managing projects. Currently serving as Manager of Software Engineering at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since November 2021, Somil excels in mentoring software engineers and tracking key performance indicators for project success. Prior to this role, Somil held various positions at KPIT from 2005 to 2021, including Software Technical Project Manager and Senior Designer/Software Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing software architecture, implementing diagnostic protocols, and coordinating with stakeholders for requirement gathering. Somil began the career as a Software Engineer and advanced through roles involving technical leadership, showcasing a strong foundation in electronics with a BE degree from North Maharashtra University.
