Stephan Schulze possesses extensive experience in quality engineering and lean manufacturing, currently serving as Global Supplier Quality Engineering at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since July 2023, focusing on Advanced Product Quality Planning. Prior to this, Stephan spent two decades at Ford Motor Company, where roles included Global Supplier Technical Assistance Engineering, emphasizing capacity risk mitigation and advanced product quality planning, as well as positions in lean manufacturing that led to significant cost reductions across multiple regions. Previous engineering experience includes contributions at Delphi and General Motors, with a solid academic foundation comprising multiple degrees in management, industrial engineering, and mechanical engineering from reputable institutions including Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Purdue University, and Virginia Tech.
