Tamika Jamison is a dynamic entrepreneur and creative leader with extensive experience in the literary and wellness industries. As the Co-Founder of SoulCanvas since March 2023, Tamika has been instrumental in creating a traveling creative wellness experience. In addition, Tamika is the Founder of Black Writers Weekend and the AAMBC Literary Awards, producing an award show dedicated to African American writers. With a wealth of experience as the CEO of Delphine Legacy Media and the Founder of AAMBC Inc., Tamika has developed interactive literacy-based programs focused on African American literature. At Delphine Publications, Tamika serves as Publisher, Publicist, and Author, overseeing operations since August 2008. Early in the career, Tamika hosted AAMBC Radio, a show that engaged with black writers through interviews and open mic events. Tamika's educational background includes attendance at St Philip's College from 2008 to 2011.

"The Voice for Creatives and the Culture" African Americans On The Move Book Club, Inc. (AAMBC Inc.) is a literary based non profit organization founded with desire to provide a platform for the unknown African American creative in the television, film, and publishing industry. Throughout its tenure AAMBC Inc. has helped launch the careers of many writers and authors an addition to being a pillar of positivity in the African American literary industry through the development of "Black Writers Weekend". Founded by Tamika Newhouse, the weekend bridges the gaps between black literary creatives and opportunities that will advance their careers. Powered by AAMBC Inc., the organization focuses on new and emerging voices in literature and fusing them with established creatives in film, television, and publishing. AAMBC Inc. Mission: The mission of AAMBC Inc. is to develop interactive literacy based programs centered around African American books and those who write them. We advocate for literary arts, literacy, and bridging the gap for black writers and opportunities. In addition to its literary based programs, AAMBC Inc. is the producer of, AAMBC Literary Awards Show, the only entertainment award show that celebrate black writers in a ceremony in front of a live audience. BLACK WRITERS WEEKEND With the desire to continue promoting the platform for African American creatives, "Black Writers Weekend" was launched. Black Writers weekend take place annually the second weekend in June in Atlanta, GA. Starting on that Thursday, attendees enjoy a weekend of events such as career panels, educational seminars, author signings, movie screenings, celebratory book bash, with the highlighted event of the weekend being, AAMBC Inc. Literary Awards Show. This weekend was designed specifically for readers and writers of all genres, genders, and ages,” Newhouse says. “We wanted this to be a true celebration of literary achievement in every area imaginable.”
