Amanda Benedict Ma, Cstd

Amanda Benedict, MA, CStd has extensive experience in various roles related to standards and management. Amanda currently holds the position of Vice President, Sterilization at AAMI since 2022. Prior to this, Amanda was Vice President of Standards at the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation from 2015 to 2022. Amanda also served as the Director of Standards at the same organization from 2015 to 2020. Before joining AAMI, Amanda worked at SHRM from 2006 to 2015, where they held the positions of Manager, HR Standards and Survey Research Analyst. Amanda began their career at Magellan Behavioral Health as a Project Manager/Research Associate from 1999 to 2003.

Amanda Benedict, MA, CStd, obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree with a thesis and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland. Amanda pursued their education in the fields of Education and Human Development, Psychology, and Women's Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained the SES Standards Professional Certification (CSTD) from SES - The Society for Standards Professionals in November 2021.
