Paul Meinshausen is the co-founder of Aampe, a mobile fintech startup providing access to personal and consumer credit in India. Prior to Aampe, Paul served as the Chief Product Officer at DT One, a company that was acquired by Naspers/PayU in 2019 for $185M. At DT One, Paul focused on building the platform for fraud and risk management, credit underwriting, and data product development. A major component of the platform was a machine learning pipeline for extracting structured financial data from unstructured mobile SMS text at scale.
Before DT One, Paul served as an advisor at Montane Ventures where they led the design and development of the visual analytics platform for Infusive Intelligence, a financial research and investment company. The platform was built on PostgreSQL database and a Django framework. Interactive graphs and data visualizations were built with JavaScript and D3.js.
Paul has also consulted on the development of a rules engine for the Playbasis platform and the implementation of predictive analytics and machine learning for gamification, marketing, and consumer engagement.
Paul Meinshausen has a non-degree in research methodology, quantitative methods, and computer science from Harvard University. Paul also has a MA from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Paul has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in anthropology from the University of Louisville. Paul also has certification from Udemy in The Ultimate Hands-On Hadoop - Tame Your Big Data.
