Maggie Bowlby

Senior Manager of Individual & Family Services at AANE

Maggie Bowlby is the Senior Manager of Individual & Family Services at AANE. Maggie has been working in this position since August 2015. Prior to that, they were a special education teacher at Lowell Public Schools for five years. In that role, they educated up to 12 unique autistic students with a variety of needs, implemented their IEPs, and fostered a positive classroom community through circle-time. Maggie also tracked data on each IEP objective through the use of program books and developed and implemented discrete trials in addition to other ABA methods.

Maggie has CPI certification and has also completed and submitted MCAS Alt Assessments. Maggie is experienced in evaluating students using the Lap-D, Wiat-III, and Woodcock Johnson IV, and writing reports on findings. In addition to their work in the classroom, Maggie has also taught in Lowell Public Schools Extended School Year Program for autistic students.

Maggie Bowlby has a Master of Education from Boston College in the field of Moderate Special Needs. Maggie also has a Bachelor's degree from Boston College in Elementary Education and Perspectives on Spanish America.
