Caroline Wator has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and public service roles. Caroline started in 2015 as a part-time Sales Associate at TJ Maxx, where they collaborated with colleagues and managers to achieve company goals. In 2019, they worked as a Public Service Intern at the Chicago Department of Public Health, conducting policy scans and reviews to identify opportunities for policy expansion. Caroline also worked as a Public Health Intern at the Scott County Health Department, where they created an ordinance review checklist and resource guide. Caroline later joined CuraLinc Healthcare as a Client Services Associate, supporting client projects and launching new clients. Caroline designed client web pages and marketing materials to increase benefit utilization. Caroline then worked as a Research Intern at NorthShore University HealthSystem. In 2021, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the UIC Center for Healthy Work, contributing to a research project aimed at improving employee health and well-being initiatives. Currently, they hold a role as a Child and Community Health Specialist at the American Academy of Pediatrics, starting in 2023.

Caroline Wator completed their high school education at Maine East High School from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Augustana College, specializing in Political Science and Public Health, from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Caroline is enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they are expected to complete their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Administration from 2021 to 2023.
