Eero Äijälä

Eero Äijälä has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

Eero started their career as a Cashier at Kauppahuonepojat Oy in 2002 and worked there until 2006.

In 2006, they joined Inex Partners Oy as a Logistics Worker and later became a Logistics Designer in 2007. In this role, they were responsible for order and supply scheduling as well as project management for the company's grocery trade suppliers. Eero held these positions until 2013.

From 2013 to 2019, Eero worked at SOK, where they initially served as a Development Manager, responsible for developing supply chain processes and improving efficiency. Eero then became the Head of Store Replenishment, Groceries, leading the digital transformation of store replenishment and store operations.

In 2019, Eero joined RELEX Solutions as the Commercial Product Lead for Grocery Retail, before moving on to become the Head of Central Solution Consulting. In this role, they provided expertise in product adoption and excellence, ensuring customers receive maximum value from the company's products. Later, they became the Director of Product Adoption & Excellence, overseeing a department of consultants and training experts.

Since 2022, Eero has taken on the role of Operations Director, Finland and Eastern Europe at RELEX Solutions. In this role, they have operative P&L responsibility for the company's headquarters market and leads a team of around 80 people, managing approximately 70 customers in the region. Additionally, they focus on building competences and delivery capabilities for the CPG and Workforce product areas.

Eero Äijälä obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering and management from Metropolia in the years 2006 to 2012. Eero then pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field from LUT University, completing it between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, in 2005, they completed a Leadership program at RUK / Finnish Defence Forces. In terms of certifications, Eero Äijälä became a Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2017, and also obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) qualification from Scrum Alliance in the same year.
