Hira T. Khan, MPH, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they serve as the Project Manager for Virtual Education Activities at the American Academy of Pediatrics since September 2020. In this role, they manage the planning, development, implementation, and deployment of virtual education courses, ensuring they meet the latest AAP CME quality standards. Hira T. also initiates and executes projects from start to finish, leading project kick-offs, creating milestones, and managing the overall progress.

Prior to this, Hira worked as a Program Manager for Resource Development and Distribution at the American Academy of Pediatrics from August 2019 to September 2020.

Hira also worked as a Freelance Editor at RED PEN BRISTOL from July 2014 to September 2019. In this role, they proofread and edited dissertations of international graduate students studying abroad at the University of Bristol. From February 2016 to August 2019, Hira served as a Research Health Scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Here, they served as the managing editor for a monthly brief, collaborating in writing and editing content, and streamlining publication processes. Hira also has experience working as a Blog Manager at Thaakat Foundation from February 2012 to January 2014. In addition, they served as a Research Assistant in Communications at the Health Media Collaboratory at The Institute for Health Research & Policy from September 2012 to August 2013. They became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in December 2019. They also acquired certifications in TRX Suspension Training from TRX Training in May 2020 and Myofascial Release Foam Roller from FiTOUR® Certifications in August 2020.

Furthermore, Hira has certifications in What Is Scrum? from LinkedIn, obtained in October 2022, and Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), obtained in March 2022. They have also received certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2022 and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in May 2021.
