Julie Callahan has work experience in various organizations and roles. Julie started working as an Attendant at the Mooresville Park and Recreation in 2012 and continued until 2015. During this time, they focused on creating, updating, and selling memberships to patrons while resolving conflicts and improving patron satisfaction.

In 2015, Julie joined the Bloomington Parks and Recreation- Cascades Golf Course as a Supervisor/Attendant. Their responsibilities included scheduling daily play operations, creating and selling memberships, and providing facility-related services. Julie worked in this role until 2018.

During their time at the BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF MARION COUNTY INC in 2018, Julie served as a Healthy Lifestyles Program Intern. Their duties involved planning, facilitating, and evaluating daily healthy lifestyle and athletics programming. Julie also supervised service learners and volunteers while collecting and tracking program-related data.

In the same year, Julie joined the Timmy Global Health organization as a Global Health Fellow. Their role included advising alumni, high school, and university chapters on fundraising, local service, and health advocacy. Julie also provided logistics support for medical service trips and managed budgets for domestic chapter visits and events.

From 2018 to 2019, Julie worked as a Staff member at Metazoa Brewing Co., before joining the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2020. At the American Academy of Pediatrics, they held the position of Global Newborn & Child Health Coordinator. Their responsibilities involved performing administrative functions for the Vice President and staff, managing travel arrangements and calendars, serving as a superuser for accounting software, monitoring budgets, and reconciling team expenditures.

Overall, Julie Callahan has gained experience in administrative functions, budget management, program coordination, membership services, and event logistics throughout their various roles.

Julie Callahan has an extensive education history. From 2019 to 2022, they attended Purdue University Global, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health Care Management. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, they attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health. In 2017, they had the opportunity to study abroad through DIS - Study Abroad, where they studied Arctic Ecology and Positive Psychology. Before their undergraduate studies, from 2010 to 2014, Julie attended Mooresville High School where they completed Core 40 Honors program.

In addition to their formal education, Julie has obtained certifications in Excel Quick Tips and Outlook Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn in December 2020.
