Sandra George

Sandra George, MPH, is a Program Manager for Trauma Education and Training Initiatives at the American Academy of Pediatrics, where they apply their expertise in preventative health and program management. Sandra has extensive experience managing multiple CDC-funded projects focused on trauma in children and promoting recovery through a trauma-informed care framework. Previously, they served as a Health Equity Fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, gaining valuable skills in grant management and community health program evaluation. Sandra holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from East Carolina University.
