Jim Nickman

Jim Nickman has a diverse work experience in the field of dentistry and leadership roles. Jim is currently a Member on the Board of Trustees for both America's Dentists Care Foundation (ADCF) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation. Jim has held the position of Pediatric Dentist at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates since 1999. Jim has also served various leadership roles in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, including Past President, Immediate Past President, President, and President Elect. In addition, Jim has been actively involved in the Minnesota Dental Association, where they held the positions of President and President-elect. Furthermore, they have served as a Public Policy Advocate for the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Jim's early work experience includes the role of Engineering Manager at Texas Instruments from 1985 to 1993.

Jim Nickman obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1981 to 1985. Jim then pursued their Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry from 1993 to 1997. Continuing their education, Jim Nickman completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 1999.
