Suzanne Wester, MBA, CAE, has a strong background in association management and coordination. Suzanne has experience working with various organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, where they served as the Vice President for Membership and Chapter Relations. In this role, Suzanne successfully grew the association's membership and designed recruitment and retention strategies.

Prior to this, Suzanne worked at Smith, Bucklin and Associates as an Association Coordinator, overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising a team. Suzanne was responsible for coordinating association membership processing and database management.

Suzanne also gained experience as a Project Coordinator at the American Organization of Nurse Executives, where they designed project time lines and improved departmental operations. Suzanne worked with outside vendors and contractors to coordinate meeting arrangements.

Earlier in their career, Suzanne served as an Intake Coordinator at Seguin Services, INC, facilitating the placement of individuals with developmental disabilities in need of agency services. Suzanne successfully developed new systems for the intake department, improving productivity and the quality of work.

Suzanne began their career as a VISTA Community Liaison at the American Red Cross, where they supervised, interviewed, and placed Red Cross volunteers in service areas. Suzanne committed herself to a year-long volunteer position as an Americorps*VISTA Volunteer.

Suzanne Wester, MBA, CAE, completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication, General at the University of Iowa from 1988 to 1992. Suzanne then pursued their MBA with a specialization in Project Management at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degrees, Suzanne Wester obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in May 2019.
