Tim Arvanites

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of aapi, Timothy Arvanites, is a recognized information technology leader who has a passion for building innovative technology solutions that propel customer success. Mr. Arvanites uses his proven track record and over 20 years of experience within the IT field to drive the technical vision and oversight for aapi. Timothy wears many different organizational hats at aapi: Technology Visionary, Big Thinker, Infrastructure Manager, and External-facing Technologist.

Before co-founding aapi, Mr. Arvanites was VP of Technical Services at SecureAuth, providing direct leadership for all customer-facing pre and post-sales technical teams within the company. Prior to SecureAuth, he was the founder of an IT consulting practice and his experiences providing development, engineering, and architecture services for a wide range of customers have been a foundation to his customer-centric approach in solving IT and business challenges.

Mr. Arvanites holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and maintains several certifications including CISM, CRISC, MCSE, MCSA, and MCDBA. Timothy, as a lifelong Cubs fan, was in the stands in Cleveland when they finally reversed the curse and won the World Series. He and his family never miss the lollapalooza festival held annually in his hometown of Chicago.
