Lawrence Mendenhall

Lawrence Mendenhall has extensive experience in legal and operational leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Lawrence serves as the COO, CFO, and Chief Legal/Risk Officer at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Previous positions include General Counsel and Advisor at The Freedom Fund, Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary at Humanity United, General Counsel at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Deputy Director of Legal Affairs at The Pew Charitable Trusts. Lawrence holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from The Wharton School and has a legal education from New York University School of Law.
