Sushmitha Viswanathan

Sushmitha Viswanathan is a legal professional with extensive experience in research and wildlife conservation law. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Aapti Institute since February 2023, Sushmitha has previously held positions as a Law Officer and Legal Intern at the Wildlife Conservation Society-India from July 2021 to February 2023. Sushmitha contributed to a project on Cyber Wildlife Trafficking and has completed multiple legal internships across various organizations, including the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau and the Department of Law, Government of Karnataka. Sushmitha holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Christ University, Bangalore, completed in 2022.
