Adam Nelson has a diverse background in logistics and procurement, with significant experience in government contracting. Currently employed at AAR as a Product Line Rep - Commercial and a Defense Contract Specialist since April 2019, Adam reviews and applies FAR and DFARS clauses to government contracts and examines solicitations from the Defense Logistics Agency. Prior to this role, Adam served as a Buyer for Government Services, negotiating aircraft parts purchases for Military contracts, including support for C-130 platforms. Adam's previous experience includes overseeing freight operations at XPO Logistics, Inc., managing loading dock activities and supervising a team of forklift drivers, as well as data entry and inventory management at Mars. Adam began a career in logistics as a Logistics Specialist in the US Navy, maintaining inventory levels and issuing supplies. Adam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business and Information Systems from Strayer University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Project Management at American Military University.
