Eric Fleming

Eric Fleming, M.S., serves as a Senior Director of International Trade at AAR since April 2021 and is a member of the Illinois District Export Council, having been appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce in February 2024. With a background that includes significant roles such as Senior Advisor and Board Member at the Washington Export Council, Chief Export Advisor at Wärtsilä Defense, Inc., and Business Process Architect at Airbus, Eric has extensive experience in trade compliance, business process improvement, and export control. Prior positions also include Senior Process Development Specialist at B/E Aerospace and Lead Estimating and Pricing Specialist at Boeing. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Systems, Computer Science, with additional expertise in Project Management and Management Information Systems from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
