Gonzalo Salazar

Gonzalo Salazar is an experienced professional in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Vice President of Product Development, Strategy, and Sales for APAC at AAR since March 2024. Previously, Gonzalo spent nearly 15 years at Airbus, where significant roles included Head of Global Repair Network Management, overseeing the development and implementation of Airbus-Satair repair stations and managing supplier selection, budgeting, and business case analysis. Gonzalo also held the position of Head of Project Management for the Airbus A350 XWB, leading project management for Air Systems, and contributed to training initiatives for Chinese staff as a Technical Planning Engineer. Gonzalo's early career included roles such as Electrical Schematic Tool Manager and Integration and Test Engineer. Educational credentials include a degree from Concordia University Montreal and earlier studies at Dawson College.
