Robert W. Kamerschen

Robert W. Kamerschen is the EVP, General Counsel, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer & Corporate Secretary at Aaron's. Robert has been with the company since June 2013 and in their current role since March 2021.

Kamerschen is responsible for all aspects of legal, compliance, government relations, external affairs, security, information security, risk management, charitable giving and corporate governance for Aaron's, Inc. (NYSE:AAN). This includes managing the two primary business units of Aaron's - Aaron's, an omni-channel speciality retailer offering lease-to-own offerings in approximately 1300 retail locations as well as online; and Progressive Leasing, which offers lease-to-own transactions primarily to credit-challenged consumers through e-commerce and point-of-sale retail partners, via online, mobile, and in-store solutions.

Under Kamerschen's leadership, Aaron's was named General Counsel of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and a National Finalist by Chambers and Partners for Outstanding Contribution in the Advancement of Diversity in the Legal Profession. Robert also served as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

In addition to their work at Aaron's, Kamerschen is also active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and as a member of the Campaign Cabinet for Westside Future Fund.

Robert W. Kamerschen received their JD with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law and their bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford University.
