Carmenza Millan

Carmenza Millan, DHA, currently serves as the Business Integration Director for Community, State and National Affairs at AARP, where responsibilities include supporting regional volunteer leadership and providing strategic advisory support to enhance AARP's mission. Millan's extensive experience at AARP from 2005 to the present includes roles such as Interim Senior Research Advisor and Associate State Director, focusing on community engagement, multicultural outreach, and advocacy for older populations. Prior to AARP, Millan held various positions in public relations and marketing in healthcare settings, including Director roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago and St. Anthony Hospital. Millan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College, a Master's in Health Education and Gerontology from East Stroudsburg University, and a Doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
