Edem Hado

Edem Hado is an experienced professional in public policy and research, currently serving as Senior Strategic Policy and Research Manager at the AARP Public Policy Institute since February 2019, after a tenure as Policy Research Senior Analyst in the same organization. Previously, Edem was an ASA RISE Fellow at the American Society on Aging, focusing on enhancing BIPOC leadership in aging policies. Prior roles include Manager of Operations and Community Partnerships at Mavencare, where the focus was on technology solutions for older adults, and Manager of Customer Experience at Hakuna, a home care service. Edem gained valuable experience as an intern in the Office of Long Term Services and Supports in Massachusetts and held multiple roles at Professional Profiles, a home care agency. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from Harvard, a Data Analytics certificate from General Assembly, and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Brown University.
