Gregory MacIas

Gregory Macias is an accomplished leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Internal Initiatives in the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at AARP since September 2021, Macias leads strategies that support the aging population and their communities. Prior roles include Vice President of Strategy and Equity, and Vice President of Programs and Strategy at Western Resource Advocates, where Macias managed efforts to balance community needs with environmental preservation. Previous experience encompasses key positions at SAGE, AARP, and several consulting roles where Macias demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, performance management, and advocacy. Gregory Macias holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in English from Santa Clara University.
