Mark Hensley

Mark Hensley has over 25 years of experience in leadership and administration within health and human services, focusing on aging and dementia care. Currently, Hensley serves as the Associate State Director for AARP in the Greensboro Triad NC Region, contributing to member and volunteer support. Prior roles include serving as Dementia Services Coordinator at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, where Hensley led initiatives on Alzheimer's disease, and as Chief Operating Officer for Benchmarks, managing fiscal operations and reporting. Hensley's extensive background also encompasses program coordination and compliance monitoring in various governmental and nonprofit organizations. Hensley's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Administration from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Business.
