Peter Rundlet

Peter Rundlet is the Vice President of International Affairs at AARP, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Peter served as the Director of International Strategy at the Obama Foundation from April 2017 to October 2019 and as the Managing Director & Head of the Washington Office at Humanity United from September 2010 to April 2017. Peter's experience includes positions such as Deputy Assistant to the President at The White House, Director of Policy and Government Relations at Humanity United, and Vice President & Managing Director for International Policy at the Center for American Progress. Peter's legal background includes serving as Legal Counsel for the 9/11 Commission and as an Associate Attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Peter holds an A.B. in History from Brown University, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and a MALD in International Relations and Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
