Selena Caldera

Selena Caldera is an accomplished Senior Policy and Research Manager at AARP, focusing on caregiving strategies and addressing racial and ethnic inequities in health and long-term care for older Americans. With extensive experience in policy research, Selena has previously held positions at the CFRP Child and Family Research Partnership, where qualitative analyses of family caregiver experiences were conducted, as well as at the University of Texas at Austin, contributing to various research projects and teaching roles. Prior roles also include senior strategy analyst at Central Health, program specialist at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, and policy research senior analyst at AARP. Selena holds a PhD ABD in Public Policy Analysis and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
