Veronica Bedon

Veronica Bedon serves as the Program Management Director at AARP since December 2014, focusing on connecting consumers and community organizations to AARP's Family Caregiving Education curriculum. Additionally, Veronica holds the position of Senior Advisor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, managing the Diversity Budget and engaging multicultural communities in AARP’s initiatives related to Health Security, Financial Resilience, and Fun and Fulfillment. Past roles include Interim Senior Policy Content Management Advisor and Social Project Coordinator at AARP, alongside experience at Edelman and Vocus in account supervision and employer brand marketing, respectively. With a B.A. in Communications: Public Relations from the University of Maryland and an Executive Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Georgetown University, Veronica showcases a strong background in communications strategy, social media management, and community engagement.
