William Skelton

Director, Customer Experience Design

William Skelton is a seasoned professional in customer experience design, currently serving as the Director of Customer Experience Design at AARP since April 2018, where leadership of a team of five experience designers focuses on creating engaging interactions for 38 million members and a wider consumer base. Prior experience includes a role as Customer Experience Designer at Emergent Design from June 2012 to April 2018, where design strategy projects spanned various industries, notably enhancing customer experience for Opera Philadelphia during its inaugural festival. Additional experience comprises short positions at Doblin Group as a Design Strategy intern and as an educator at both The American School Foundation and City Arts + Prep Public Charter School. William Skelton holds degrees from The George Washington University and the Institute of Design, including a Doctor of Education currently in progress.
