Reva Raghupathi

Reva Raghupathi has over 25 years of experience in US and global marketing strategy, business leadership, biomedical research, and nonprofit enterprise. Reva worked for Merck & Co. from 1998-2018 in roles of increasing responsibility. As Executive Director, Primary Care, she developed global strategy for the substantial Primary Care business, led a cross-functional initiative to transform new product planning and served as commercial representative on governance committees. As Executive Director, Diabetes Franchise, she was the global commercial leader on product development teams, led commercial activities in licensing and business development, and delivered successful deals. Prior to these roles, Reva rapidly progressed through assignments in US sales, market research and marketing. She helped launch blockbuster products in the antibacterials, cholesterol reducers and diabetes areas. In 2018, Reva founded Verika LLC, which develops solutions for social impact organizations and start-ups. Reva’s academic qualifications include a PhD in medicinal chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and MBA in healthcare management and marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Palmer Scholar (top 5%). Reva conducted post-doctoral research in neuropharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania and medicinal chemistry at the University of Iowa. She received an MS in nonprofit leadership from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019.
