Naeem Komeilipoor

Naeem Komeilipoor has held numerous roles in the fields of neuroscience, AI, advanced audio, embedded systems, industrial design, material science, and more. In 2019, they founded AAVAA, where they currently serve as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Naeem is also an Entrepreneur In Residence at TandemLaunch Inc. and previously held the role of Scientific Project Manager at YourRhythm Project in 2018. In the same year, they founded NeuroAiTec, where they created a robot and voice chatbot to monitor elderly people's mental and physical health. From 2016 to 2015, they held the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al's BRAMS (International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research) and University of Helsinki, respectively. Additionally, they were a Visiting PHD Student at Queen's University Belfast in 2013 and a Visiting Graduate Student at SISSA in 2010.

Naeem Komeilipoor obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Human Movement Science from Università degli Studi di Verona and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology between 2009 and 2011. In addition, they obtained a Second Language Proficiency in the French Conversational Program from Concordia University in April 2017.
